Custom Wedge Lens Array Optical Contacted
  Wedge Lens arrays are used as beam steering elements in optical systems playing a role analogous to that of a wobble plate in mechanics. By combining two wedges of equal power in near contact, and independantly rotating them about an axis roughly parallel to the normals of their adjacent faces, a ray passing through the combination can be steered in any direction, within a narrow cone, about the path of the undeviated ray.
